Technical Data and Certifications
The Aurora Roofing Systems offers a straightforward, efficient method of installing both Natural Slate and Aurora Ceramic Tiles.
This incredibly robust system incorporates Zincalume Battens spaced at 307.7mm. Locked in place between the battens are Aurora Link Channels, each possessing a stainless steel clip used for securing the leading edge of each slate.
This Link Channel eliminates the need for side double-lapping of slates because water passing through the slate is routed by the Link Channel onto the surface of the slate below.
Tests Performed on Aurora Ceramic Slate Tiles
Tests performed by CREAM Building Technology Laboratory (UK):
BS EN 538 1994 - Flexural Strength Test
BS EN 539 1994 - Physical Characteristic Impermeability Test
BS EN 539/2 1998 - Frost Resistance Test
BS EN 1024 1997 Geometric Test
